Title: Student Ministry Pastor
Reports to: Family Pastor Salary: TBD
Employment Status: Full Time/Non-exempt

The Student Ministries Pastor will serve as a paid staff member and will work with the other leaders of Countryside to provide an effective ministry to the students.

Position Overview
This person will be responsible to lead, promote, develop, coordinate, oversee and staff
Countryside’s Student Ministries [Middle School through College].

This person will coordinate with other Team Leaders at Countryside to help develop and maintain up-to-date visuals, artwork and communications.

In partnership with the pastoral staff this person will operate as a liaison and advocate for all the ministries of Countryside Christian Church in order to contribute to the holistic needs of the church and community. TEAMWORK

Qualifications and Expectations of the Student Ministry Pastor
One who exhibits a personal and growing relationship with God, a teachable spirit, and a healthy family life.

Gifted and Called to Student Ministry and capable of creating and executing a long-term vision for student ministry in relationship to the mission and values of Countryside Christian Church.

One who possesses a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a related field, proven track record as a leader of volunteers, experience in ministry to students.

Specific Responsibilities: Student Ministries
Lead students through a year-round intentional discipleship process. Pursue God, Build Community, Unleash Compassion (Local and Global) Sunday Mornings, Mid-week, Events, Camps, Retreats, etc.  Build relationships with students and go where they go  (the schools, activities).

Develop programs and systems that will promote discipleship and spiritual growth (leadership teams, special training, one on one mentorship) as necessary to grow the ministry.  Recruit , train and shepherd an Adult Leadership Team.

Identify and raise up Student Leaders in the ministry.

Equip and unleash leaders (both adult and student) and provide opportunities for their ministry.

Other staff duties as assigned and agreed upon.
