Explore the opportunities for outreach currently available at Countryside Christian Church to see how we can unleash compassion on our community and our world

Trunk or Treat

Our annual Unleashing Compassion event is on Halloween Night. This year is our 12th Trunk or Treat and we look forward to serving 1300+ people in our community. We do this with a TON of candy and lots of oohs and aaaahs over kids dressed in costumes. We bring out our best trunk (or boat or alternative) and pass out candy to the community. We provide a soup bar for everyone serving on that night. Lots to do including set-up, trunk hosts, clean up, greeters, security, popcorn servers and more!

Our event runs from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. Set up begins at 3:00pm. We need all of our trunk hosts to be in place by 4:30 (earlier is better!).

Operation Christmas Child

We partner with Samaritan's Purse to help provide the Gospel through Christmas gifts to disadvantaged children around the world.

3 Ways to Get Involved:

1.Take a box and fill it with gift items and return it to Countryside on Sunday, November 14th. Boxes and information will be available on October 17th.

2.Help cover the cost of shipping the boxes with a financial gift of $9 (please specify Operation Christmas Child).

3. Donate kids socks, underwear and t-shirts to go in boxes the Boot Camp kids will be filling as an unleashing compassion project. We will collect donations in our OCC Box beginning October 24th.
